What to do about the uniparty?

That’s something I’ve thought about for a long time. And I don’t like the answer I keep coming up with: Very Little. The uniparty has a lockhold on the political system and I see no one or group that has the willingness or ability to challenge it. Even if there were a viable strategy to dislodge the current uniparty, I suspect that the price to pay would be incredibly steep. Only for us to see a new and improved uniparty come about within 10 years anyway.

And asking what to do about the uniparty is really the wrong question to ask ourselves. I think a more relevant question to ask is if we are of caesar, or are we of God? Because caesar is going to do what caesar is going to do and doesn’t give even the slightest damn what we think about it.

Allow me to forward the somewhat radical notion that the Uniparty simply goes away without two things. Cash and votes. So...

Stop voting for uniparty candidates
Stop giving your money to people who fund uniparty candidates.

And if that means giving up your favorite twinkie, TV show or Football team, decide if your pleasure is more important than your country. Then do that.

It’s not rocket surgery folks.
