The classic stereotype. Sloth.

Back during the Jim Crow days in the South, Negroes were characterized as lazy and undependable.

One of the goals of the Civil Rights movement was the eradication of that stereotype.

Interesting that 75+ years later the image has been revived and reinforced by a bunch of California egg-heads.
