In a way I would much rather have two gay men and two gay women living in the same house to raise children so the kids at least get exposed to more than just one gender during their formative years.

Seems to me like same sex housholds would have some of the same problems that single parent households have.

Disagree.
I grew up in foster homes and the article is correct. No kid wants two homosexuals and I have seen when working up in MA kids being raised by homosexuals and they have all been screwed up.
One kid said he hated it and that he has to go to the parties where the two homosexuals go to and meet their kind.

As for being exposed two males and females then they will if a father is not around because they meet coaches, neighbors etc.

I understand your point to try to bring balance by representing both male and female, but none of the people in the picture is a good role model of their respective sex.
