I was glad to see Baristan Selmy finally fight. I remember when he stood before 5 fully-armored members of the Kingsguard and said: "Even now, I could cut through the five of you like carving a cake!"

Selmy did pretty well tonight, but in the end, a bunch of guys with knives in an alley were just too much.

Disappointing, really.

Disappointing indeed. Gandalf’s buddies would have done better. Thorin Oakenshield would have cleaved some of those dudes while his men watched his back and stabbed the heck out of the rest.
