As most cases go lately, I’ll believe it when it is proven true by law enforcement. Otherwise, just another case of rejection - seems to be the case lately!
I’d agree with you at the college level where people get boozed or drugged up and don’t want to take responsibility for their actions, but in a high school? during class time. it could hold some water.
