An interesting look at opposites.
On her worst day Carly Fiorina outshines Hillary Clinton.
Fiorina can discuss hard facts and choices without sounding shrill and disconnected, like Mrs. Clinton does.
They're both grandmothers. I think Fiorina's grandchildren got the best of the bargain between these two women.
SERIOUS and SUBSTANTIVE:
- Bret Baier Interview With Carly Fiorina 9:00 that will hold your interest.
SUPERFICIAL and SECRETIVE:
- Kara Swisher Interview With Hillary Clinton 30:00 "..get people into a nice warm purple space."
Is this serious? Fiorina is a joke candidate and just makes us look bad.
Got destroyed in CA. Nearly destroyed a huge American company, HP. Offshored, the whole works.
No, she’s not anything. Meg Whitman has more clout.
I disagree.
Fiorina has a lot of chops and when she makes her points they hit the bull’s eye.
Having her on the campaign trail makes us look good and it makes Hillary look like a disaster.
If you haven’t, watch her interview with Baier, then tell me how she makes us “look bad” or how Meg Whitman would do it better.
“Having her on the campaign trail makes us look good and it makes Hillary look like a disaster.”
Nothing personal against Fiorina, but this GOPe strategy is so manufactured and synthetic.
They are trotting her out as much as possible, especially on their house media organ, Salem.
Maybe so, but I think there is a lot of Fiorina's Texas judge dad in her make-up.
If you want to talk "manufactured and synthetic" let's discuss HRC.
She’s said some really good things and says them well. As for HP, the company was already on the skids and she was hired to save it. She couldn’t.
I’d like to hear more from her.
Traditionally, you'd have a big "kickoff rally" with a large number of people there and then a real bus tour with public rallies along the way and as many photo ops at local restaurants as possible. But Hillary did almost the exact opposite, much to the annoyance of many people--and Hillary made herself the subject of a lot of ridicule.
Thanks ,Newbie for your input.
Hillary doesn’t trust anyone. She doesn’t dare. There are too many unanswered questions and scandals.
The Clintons have too many skeletons in their walk-in closet(s).
Thanks for your keen eye.
It’s a habit I have.
I’m learning the ropes.
: )
(caught a few myself lately)

No it makes you look like you got all your talking points from the Huffington Puffington post.
I think the books are already being written about how The Smartest Woman in the Known Universe was denied POTUS-hood by a bunch of old white guys.
I’m thinking that Jeb would give his eye teeth to tap Carly for his VP - She could wear the pants in their run against Hillary (wonder who Hillary would select to balance her - Mary Poppins?). Carly would be the spine to Jeb’s supine.
I bet all the smart money is looking for someone other than Hillary and Jeb is grabbing their fancy.
Jeb cannot angle his way into the White House. He must be blocked.
Walker said once that he believes that a governor must be chosen for both President and VP. And VP for him isn’t going to be Jeb. But there are some women governors.
Though I don’t know if Walker would consider gender above getting the best - and I don’t know if the best is a man or a woman (I feel kind of sullied talking “gender” strategy, like the Left always does).
Agree. She’s learned a lot from her Senate run. She’s much more effective as a speaker...comes across well, and stays on point. I personally think she’s running for VP...or a key cabinet post..and it could work...all of the other GOP guys are starting to knock each other..Carly is focused ONLY on Hillary..and very effectively..so she gets a pass from the rest of the field.
She isn’t in the mix for the presidential nomination, she is in there for the exposure to be tapped for the VP slot. And I think that is a good place for her and the GOP ticket at this point. She can prove her bonafides as Veep, or not, at little risk to the nation.
Susanna Martinez seems pretty good, although she hasn’t been as strong against the Obama program as she could have been, in my opinion.
Maybe I’m the only one, but I really don’t think Bush is a shoo-in for the nomination.
The other thing that was learned in the last two elections, I think, is that no matter how great the VP candidate is, if people don’t like the presidential candidate, he’s not going to win. And few people except the usual “pundits” are enthusiastic about Bush.
Yes this is serious.
It’s not about how Fiorina compares to Reagan.
It’s about how she compares to Hillary.
As VP, she’d do her job, neutralize & slam Hillary, vote the way her boss tells her to in the Senate.
It’s also not about how much better you like Palin.
On the national stage Carly would do more to attract votes for a candidate like Cruz.
No, shes not anything. Meg Whitman has more clout.
I was there thru both Carly's and Meg's time, as well as many others back to Lew Platt. From my inside view:
