For some reason few people know that all Jews (Biblical Judah) are Israelites, but 10 tribes of Israel are not Jews. At the end of Samuel, King David does a census. He was told the numbers of Judah, and the numbers of Israel.

The term ‘Jew’ doesn’t exactly have a real Jewish legal status beyond the tribal status. It is a colloquialism, though the Bible does describe Mordechai as ‘ish Yehudi’ even though he was of the tribe of Benjamin. The proper legal term is ‘Bnai Yisrael’.
Are they not sons of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? Let me know why because in all my church teaching this is the first that I have heard that only the people of Judah are Jews. Really interesting!
