I think you’re wrong.
I grew up in CA (1959), left as soon as I was able, 1979? Blacks & Mexicans were rude to me & untrustworthy back then. I somehow knew it was going to get worse.
Moved to AZ, until 1992. AZ was much more relaxing but I decided to move on.
My 1st time I traveled back to the mainland for a visit (1993) I saw my first random attack by blacks & maybe a white thugs on an innocent man waiting for a walk light. On the same trip at LAX, I was standing in the check in line when a group of black females behind me talking just loud enough so I heard, ‘man that girl ugly’. I turned ‘round saw they were speaking of me.
I was frightened but more angry both at both incidences.

BTW, I'm not saying that any single group is thuggish. I am saying that most immigrants vote DemocRAT.
