I wish there would be a follow up story on the classy and professional Chick-Fil-A employee who had to endure this self-righteous liberal's abuse.

Can you use food stamps to buy a Chick-Fil-A sandwich?

It is good to see a self righteous liberal get his comeuppance. He thought he would be a hero to all his liberal friends by being so rude and nasty to the hired help, and posting it on you tube. Why have none of his liberal friends given him a job??

You know what? This is mean. Yeah the guy had a big mouth, but the punishment is excessive for the “crime” of being a bozo. Why can’t he find another job?

Maybe the economy is in a depression? I mean big woop he mouthed off to a kid, so the eff what? People mouth off every day.

So he gets fired, foreclosed etc probably on the way to divorce and his kids thinking he is a deadbeat. Just goes to show that our economy sucks eggs and people need jobs. You all gloating are sickening.

I’ll bet she’s not collecting food stamps.

She’s actually typical of CFA employees. Gracious. Me? I would have slugged the jerk.

He has also just written a new memoir, “A Million Dollar Cup of Water,” detailing how his public shaming led him from riches to rags and the intensive soul search for healing.

Public shaming is the chief weapon in the left's arsenal. One instance of the weapon backfiring won't deter them a bit from its use.

Disagree completely with his politics and he was a jerk to that girl, but his punishment has been excessive. Leave him be, let him get his life back together for his children if nothing else.

I doubt his circumstance has anything to do with Chick-fil-A.

He seems to be a complete jerk who wasted his opportunity at leadership. If an asshat like this was around my colleagues he would have been shown the door as well.

Some people cannot live amicably in society. They are Democrats.

Headline is misleading... should be, “Rich guy who videoed abuse of low income worker now finds out how public assistance works.” Or that would be the headline if it was a conservative who did it. Instead, the headline is sympathetic to his plight. I’ll still bet that his RV is still worth far more than my assets.

The most bizarre part is that he’s willing to take handouts, but too proud to take a common job.

31 reviews for a total of 1.3 stars although the author says he only sold 17 books (when there were 23 reviews). From Amazon “Million Dollar Cup of Water: Discovering the Wealth in Authenticity”

About the author: Adam Mark Smith is simply like you, a human being. He listened to a voice within him to write this book, a book that crystallized the healing process of both an abusive and lovely childhood, his admirable business career, the global public shaming he endured after protesting for gay rights in a less than mindful manner, and what he learned when he finally accepted it all. Adam loves dating his wife of 18 years and playing with his four sons by coaching their Little League teams, learning new tricks on the trampoline, riding bikes, wrestling, and falling off their skateboards. Now currently looking for his next career opportunity, Adam has held various roles in investment banking, accounting, and corporate finance at companies, including Intel, DLJ LA, KPMG, IBM, and of course, Vante. He is a certified life coach, has taught courses at the University of Arizona and Portland State University, and holds an MBA and CPA. Adam inspires others to lead their business and personal lives with authenticity, a heart of service, and courage to question their learned beliefs.

Snip from About the book: Finding balance between work and home, Adam settled into a rewarding life with a job he loved and an expanding family that gave it all meaning . . . until he made the choice to stand up for the rights of someone else. His now infamous protest began with the painful renouncement of many of the religious teachings that once formed his world view yet no longer made sense, and ended with the even more devastating surrender of his sense of safety and security.

As the journey continues, Adam has found that instead of seeking the ever-moving bar of financial success and approval of others, building the great personal wealth that comes from embracing imperfections and living an authentic life is worth any price.

He was a highly paid executive with his company, and he brought shame and ridicule upon himself and the company with his bitchy, infantile pro-homo demonstration.

Then he compounded his offensive behavior by posting it online, where it will remain in his "Permanent Record" for the remainder of his foreseeable lifetime. Let's just call this an incident of poor judgement, something highly paid executives usually try to avoid.

No tears for this jerk, the only thing wrong with this story is that he's now being supported by our tax money. No tears for his company, either. He wasn't the only one with poor judgement.

Just last night, ABC’s 20/20 aired an hour show called “Occupational Hazards.”

One segment was all about this former $200,000 a year guy who harassed a Chick-Fil-A female employee because of her employer’s opposition to homosexual marriage.

They did a lengthy interview with this guy, showed his outrageous video, his four kids, and the house he lost as a result of his rant. They even showed him in a supermarket using an EBT card.

Why is he unemployed, on food stamps? He should pack up the RV in which he lives and head for West Hollywood, Calif., Provincetown, Mass. or San Francisco, where he would be considered a hero and have no trouble finding a job.

Saw this last night on 20/20.

The girl was interviewed and so was he.

He is an unmitigated ass.

Still full of himself and he never bothered to look deeper into the issue.

Self-righteousness is just a phony form of respectability said a wise man. I’ve eaten Chick-Fil-A. Good stuff.
