Proving that the race card has no bounds a Democrat Indiana lawmaker has accused an 18-month-old of being a racist. While debating the controversial Religious Freedom Bill recently signed into law by Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, Rep. Vanessa Summers said the toddler, who is the son of her colleague Republican Judson McMillin was afraid of her because shes black. He looked at me like I was a monster and turned around and cried, she said. And I told him you need to introduce your child to some people that are dark-skinned so he will not be scared. Now anyone whos ever met a baby knows they sometimes cry when they meet strangers, or Santa Claus, or the Easter Bunny or because, you know, theyre babies and they just cry sometimes.
But not in the mind of Summers. In her mind this baby was a racist who could only have cried in response to her black skin. I told Jud McMillin I love his son, but hes scared of me because of my color. Its hard, she said to the sound of gasps from her colleagues who likely couldnt fathom a dumber statement being made by an elected official. Her colleagues seemed to groan at the insanity of her claim, according to the Indianapolis Star. Its true, Summers insisted. McMillin took the high road in response to the claims. Its just incredibly unfortunate. Youd like to think that we would have professional discussion on the House floor and certainly be able to avoid having 18-month-olds in the discussion, McMillin told the Star. I can tell you that if he reacted the same way he reacts with anybody brand new, he buries his head in his dads shoulder. Whoever it is, its what he does. Hes an 18-month-old kid; hes in a new environment up here in the place like the Statehouse but doesnt know anybody. I honestly dont remember anything out of the ordinary. The Twitterverse responded to the absurd statement accordingly.
So, maybe the kid never saw a black person before. But then again, would she have made such remarks about the 18-month-old son of a white Democrat if he had started to cry?
And I doubt that somebody like Tim Scott would have uttered such words.
DANG!
Just goes to show once again. When the race card is the only tool in your toolbox everything looks like a cracker.
It’s only going to get worse. Such will be our culture and whites will pay dearly. We look on now, soon we will be put down.
I'm sure an 18-month-old black baby on his first journey from Harlem would find my white @$$ real funny-looking the first time.
babies cry....its a major part of their repertoire at that age if I remember corectly.
the woman saw racessness....because she was looking for it.
she has now exposed herself as an utter moron
good for her.....
Yes, we need to send that toddler to sensitivity training. The woman is a complete moron. What’s next? Will this idiot claim that she thought she heard the little girl call her the N word?
thank you!
I have come to the conclusion that most black people hate their skin color to the point where they assume everyone else does too...
pre speech infant vocalization might or might mot be of sufficient complexity for the child to utter anything that remotely resembled the “N” “word” but given this women’s dedication to being deeply offended ...who knows what she might “hear”!?
i suspect that given her “racial” sensiticty she likely approached the child in bitter angry manner...
Kids often pick those things up better than many adults
Maybe he’s just not into potatoes yet.
doubtful. most of her constituents probably agree with her... and that’s the problem. It’s not much different than the Andre Carson problem. Of course, since re-redistricting, I’m hoping that maggot is gone after the next cycle
loved your story thanks for posting it i get it have a great evening
No, he’s from GA and actually is a bit of an improvement on his predecessor, who was Cynthia McKinney.
