Im usually an eager relayer of well-founded theories and clues which help get the truth out when politically-correct authorities try to hide or minimize the Islamic identity of jihad attackers, but in the case of Andreas Lubitz I must firmly state that so far (as of 3:00 am EST, U.S.), people are posting only completely unsubstantiated, non-credible reports that he was a convert to Islam.
In the early absence of much solid information about the 28-year-old pilots personal life the internet is, of course, going wild with speculation about Lubitz motives for deliberately crashing the plane full of innocent people into a mountain, and stories about him supposedly joining the religion of peace before doing it as an act of jihad are swirling around.
The people making such claims if there was really anything to them would be putting all sorts of verifiable specifics (or at least one or two checkable sources/facts) into their blog posts and articles to back up such an important allegation. However, they arent, so the fact is that theyre just trolls stirring up hysteria in order to generate traffic to their websites.
I believe its possible that Lubitz was a Muslim convert, but so far nothing credible has been made public to support that angle.
Certain internet posts in particular have gone viral, stating as if its fact that Lubitz converted to Islam. One of them, an article from a highly dubious German news website, has been translated into English and spread by The Gateway Pundit blog. The articles headline bluntly states: The co-pilot of the Germanwings Airbus was a convert to Islam. In it, the writer says All evidence indicates that Lubitz conversion to Islam took place during his unexpected 6-month hiatus from pilot training (reported elsewhere as due to depression and burnout), and that he was staying often at a radical mosque in Bremen, Germany, where his flight school was located.
None of those claims are attributed to any source whatsoever; not even anyone described as wishing to remain anonymous is cited.
Another blog, St Thomas Aquinas Versus NASA, flatly declares in its headline: Muslim Convert Co-Pilot Andreas Gunter Lubitz Committed Jihad. In that post, without naming a single source, the writer states:
It was said that Lubitz had a Muslim girlfriend. It is unclear if she was still dating Lubitz at the time of the crash. It is unclear if he met her through his Muslims(sic) friends.
The blogger in question goes on to insist, without any verifiable support whatsoever, that he or she knows that Lubitz converted to Islam during his break from pilot training in Bremen.
As most readers are already aware, actual Islamic jihadists have wasted no time jubilantly claiming Lubitz as one of their own, creating social media pages heralding Lubitz as a hero for Islam, and celebrating the murders of so many innocent passengers and crew on behalf of their systematic Mohammedan terror reign.
For me, the most compelling information so far related to Lubitz possible motives has to do with the long, unplanned break in his pilot training, reported widely as being due to depression and burnout, and the revelation from police saying they had made a significant discovery of something not a suicide note inside his apartment, something which may be a clue to what happened to the doomed jet, and which has been sent for tests.
We can be certain that a tsunami of fresh information is about to break out all over the media and internet about the details of Andreas Lubitz personal life, and about the facts and circumstances leading up to his dastardly, murderous act. We can be just as certain that not all of it will be reliable.
Im literally on the edge of my seat typing this, waiting, just like you are if you read this far.
About one thing Im extremely confident, and in contrary to politically-correct sources: If it turns out that Andreas Lubitz was a Muslim convert, you can bet your last Euro it had to do with what he did.
Are you a Muslim?
Are you a Muslim?
Are you a Muslim?
“It’s just that simple.”
Sure, in your imagination it is. In the real world, the rest of us require a little thing called evidence before we draw conclusions.
I must be because I can’t prove that I’m not /s.
Why don’t you check to see if someone once mentioned on an unsourced blog that that they’d overheard someone else talk in passing in a noisy room that I might be. That’s the level of evidence you’re working to so it’d be stupid to break the habit of a lifetime.
If “doing something about it” means spinning rumor as truth, it’s probably a good thing that they are.
“And while you wait to draw your conclusions, the Muslim slaughter of Christians continues.”
And you would have us instead do what? Go off half-cocked and lynch someone?
“Tolerance of EVIL is CRIMINAL!”
Then go arrest someone, deputy dog.
Well, there are Muslims in every city in the West now. So, good luck with that plan.
Then we’d better get started.
“It was said...” does not qualify as evidence. It was said BY WHOM? How did the person by whom it was said know this to be true?
“It is unclear...”; yeah, there’s some convincing “evidence”.
It may turn out to be true that this guy was a Muslim, and I certainly am no fan of that religion of nut cases. As of now, though, I have seen no solid evidence that this was a case of a MUSLIM nut case crashing a plane and killing a bunch of people. It is possible that it was just a nut case crashing the plane and killing people.
Didn’t he have a muslim girlfriend he broke up with?
All Muslims are evil - I don’t necessarily agree with that, but I can see why it is reasonable to believe that. I think it’s more reasonable to believe that Islam as an institution is evil, but that there are individual Muslims out there who are not evil.
All evil people are Muslims - That’s what you’re really trying to assert on this thread. I hope you can see the difference between that assertion and the first one that I posted. You are the one being naïve and you are the one who needs to watch your back if you truly believe this. There are plenty of evil non-Muslims out there in the world. It may well be that one of them just crashed a German plane into a mountain; why don’t we wait for more evidence to see whether or not that’s the case?
Why even waste our time debating this issue...Our most wondrous homocommie leader has proclaimed far and wide that there was no terrorism involved...
One would think that the much-less-than PC Germans would not cover up a conversion to Islam if it is found. Here, all bets are off.
Like the frequently used "some say". If you put the writers on truth serum they'd admit it means "I say".
