Not likely. If that was the issue you would have heard comments from the co pilot.
He would have had to be unconscious.
Also, there are pilot type of things that indicate this was a deliberate act.
he wiped photos from his facebook page two days before which may indicate intent. BUT there is also the sound of something striking the plane before the final crash. Perhaps a flying object struck the fornt of the plane causing decompression in the cockpit? if so, wouldn’t that also affect the passenger section or are they seperate? They do hear passengers screaming so they were unfortunately aware of everything.
True the First Officer could have communicated through the door to the Captain about a problem with the door lock IF that was the case BUT also, that could serve as a ruse. What “pilot type things” indicate a deliberate act?
