If it was a Candidate or Exploratory Committee announcement, there would be some kind of advance press release saying that.

I’d still like to see Cruz and Walker throw in together and make a run for it. Those two would make a pretty good pair to bring this country back to where it belongs and well away from the demodummies.

yeah, that would be awesome....a guy who has fought back against Washington paired with a guy who has rolled back unions......we’d all be better off with less Washington and fewer unions, especially government unions.
To: DaveA37
I dunno. I can’t see either of them being willing to take second slot. Perhaps I’m wrong, but that’s just the impression I get.

No one is willing at this point......that willingness comes later when a dose of reality sets in.

The announcement has spurred speculation that Cruz intends to either announce his intention to run for president of the United States or, at the very least, form an exploratory committee in advance of doing so. I hope it's the former.

wed all be better off with less Washington and fewer unions, especially government unions. All the unions have to do is support Walker and they're safe. He isn't against government unions, just ones who support his opponent.

Yup!
They'll be here soon with their whining cries of "But he's not eligible!"

Why else would he announce on Friday that he is going to have a BIG announcement on Monday?
Of course, it could be an anti-climactic build-up to hot air, like Beck and Trump have done previously with ‘big’ announcements that went flat.
If he does throw in his hat, look for half-a-dozen more to declare by Friday.

All the unions have to do is support Walker and they're safe. He isn't against government unions, just ones who support his opponent. Well, when you are a Republican in Wisconsin, that's all of them is it not? Pretty easy to be hard core anti union in Missouri. Not nearly as easy in Wisconsin. Probably not feasible to be totally against public sector unions in Wisconsin....even though that's the right stance.
