I love having a stockpile of books. For a dollar each at library fund raisers and some used book stores, they are quite a bargain.

Having real books to get me through whatever disaster comes my way is one reason I’m not getting too tied to my kindle. Besides, reading from paper is just mire comforting... or perhaps I don’t like change.

I also have a Kindle and I think like you do, be sure to have physical books should an emergency happen. I just bought a physical book at Amazon and a note popped up since I bought the book, I could also get it on Kindle for a price of $2.00, so I did that. That is the first time I’ve seen that offer.

A store here has turned a section into a free exchange library. Check around for one near you. Or click on your location at http://littlefreelibrary.org/ourmap/ for an exchange in your neighborhood.
