Good catch.

Huckster is an interesting word. Original meaning ‘peddler’ or ‘hawker.’ From Middle English ‘hukster’ from Middle Danish ‘hokster’ (hoeken, to peddle), giving ‘hawk’ (as in hawking beer at a ball game) and ‘hawker.’

Later senses of the word: promoter using showmanship, and later still, derogatorily, a flim-flam man (a nonsense peddler, a deceiver).

The last two senses of the word define Obama well, self-promoting showman and nonsense pedder—7 days a week, 365 days a year on and on and on.
