A totally stupid question. For Hillary, it's all about the power of the office. She could care less about the rest.

I also think that if she runs she will expire on the campaign trail... Her health is fragile and she barely made it as SOS (one of the worst ever).
I think she’ll run but not get the nomination.
If the Democrats force her out of the nomination watch out! At that point the Clintons will have no incentive to help the party out. Right now, they need the Democratic party, if it shoves her aside again, they will no longer need it.
The next President will be a Gen-X'er.
This is what she should do.
1. Keep raising as much money as possible with speeches and fraudulent donations.
2. Announce that she is not running.
3. Do damage behind the scenes to all of those RATS running in primaries so that no one get a majority.
4. Appear at the RAT convention, with no one having a majority of delegates, and accept a coronation as the candidate. She will have avoided all the scrutiny.
ALTERNATE PLAN: If a RAT does get enough delegates, she has the nominee and VP nominee involved in a mysterious fatal accident during the presidential campaign. She then steps up to save the party and the country.
Frankly why does the Democratic Party need the Clinton’s?
In the 2014 elections everyone they campaigned for lost.
Here in Arkansas they came several times, Bill did, to campaign for Mark Pryor and James Lee Witt, among others, and they both lost by double digits. They are toxic to anyone they campaign for.
I would think the Democrats might just welcome an end to them and cronyism.

When the story broke about the “foundation” raking in millions, I thought THAT’S what they are really after. She must appear to be running or that flood of influence buying cash would stop.
Obama doesn’t want to fight a war against ISIS but he sure is in a war against the Clintons. This was all leaked because the latest sex scandals with Billy boy were not enough to stop her, she was going to announce next month. I don’t think he wants Hillary to succeed him, they want someone even more leftist. If he even leaves office at all. What’s worth popping popcorn over is whether or not Hillary will retaliate with some of the dirt she has on Obama. Remember the “theft” of the passport records? Bill will be pretty pissed over this and may want to force an Obama resignation. Biden becomes pres and guess who he will be forced into making VP. That may be their only path.
Hillary is in it for the long haul. Do not expect her to just give up on her dream of becoming president. She will last at her goal until her dying breath. Even if she were tried and convicted and sent to prison, she's still be moving to be top boss.
I sure would hate to be her warden.

Hillary had a lot of baggage before the revelations about foreign money pouring into the Clinton’s phony charity and into their pockets, Bill’s trips to orgy island and now the strange secret email server in her home. Hillary is not all that likeable and often comes across as shrill and condescending. She is not at all like old Bill who could charm the pants off of you while lying through his teeth. Hillary is damaged goods and the Democrats better be looking for someone else. That said the other possibilities are pretty lame.
I fervently hope that is not the case. Hitlery is the most easily beatable Democrat out there including Jeb Bush.

It is telling that the progressive wing of the party doesn't think she's progressive enough, but they'll come around once a few discreet calls are made concerning what she has on file, a few discreet promises are made concerning what she intends to award loyal followers with, and a few discreet suitcases full of money find their proper destination. This is no amateur at this; she wouldn't be as wealthy as she is without a master's degree in corruption.
