I’m not prying, bushwon.. but could your daughter be interested in Seattle simply because she has a friend there? I would imagine moving to a new area for a job is frightening in a way. Moving to a new area and not knowing a soul is even more frightening. (perhaps this is a female trait vs a male trait.. don’t know for sure?) Either way, she sounds like she has a good head on her shoulder. Do you know the friend? Is he/she a good person that will watch out for her? If she moves to Seattle and doesn’t like it, she always has resume material for another job later. Good luck!

No problem. I have encouraged her to explore a little—go where she wants—she does not need to move back home or to hometown or stay in Michigan where she is a student.

She has friends and relatives in various parts of the country, but this dear friend happens to have moved to Seattle (they were college roommates)due to her fiance being stationed in the army there, so yes there is a friend/support aspect to where she ls looking.. Her friend is good person and will watch out for her—never let her down, etc.

Thanks for your input. :)
