Our enemy was then rebuilt i.e. Germany and Japan to be our allies which they are today. We kept residual force there for many years until they were loyal and firm allies. Our forces there today our not forces of occupation but those of mutual defense that both Germany and Japan welcome. We are on the same side. As sovereign nations they could make us leave anytime they wanted.
We defeated the “bad guys” in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama then pulled us out without robust residual forces. As a result the bad guys now control most of Iraq and soon will control Afghanistan.
The real question is this was predictable and Obama knew this. WHY DID HE DO THIS and which side is he on!!!!
Carter. The taking of our embassy and the hostages was an act of war. We should have attacked and destroyed the Iranian a-holes.
