ISIS isn’t about Islam – it’s about jobs!
Department of State spokeswoman Marie Harf is lowering the bar yet again when it comes to intelligence in the Obama administration. If anyone doubts that, even Chris “tingles” Matthews from MSNBC is crying foul this time around. The official statement out of our State Department is that Islamic extremism is not the root cause of terrorism. Lack of jobs is the real problem.

Marie Harf is thirty three years old. She started her career as a CIA spokesperson, graduated to a job with Obamas campaign for 2012 as his National Security planner, and is now the deputy director of the State Department. Pretty impressive resume for a thirty three yo, who graduated from high school just sixteen years ago. One thing for sure, she didn’t get where she is because of her intelligence, or her ability to articulate. I guess it’s who one knows in this incestual administration.
I think I read today that her father was a big Obama donor.
In other words,he bought her the job.

Of course, I didn’t hear the idiot but picked up a bit of it while I was fixing dinner. He said the terrorists aren’t really followers of Islam. WHY DOESN’T HE ASK THEM instead of preaching to the rest of us?? They claim they are followers of Islam and he says they don’t know what they’re talking about. I tell you - this guy is really, truly something else. I don’t think any of us ever thought we would be subjected to this kind of stupidity from a
U. S. president in our lifetime and really I don’t know WHY we should be. I surely hope and pray our children and grandchildren won’t ever have to experience a president so willing to sell out the country. That’s assuming there is a country left after 2016! Every day brings a new assault to our common sense.

She is merely a spokesperson and is finding out not a very good one at that.

I would have thought that “intelligence” would have been a requirement to be an analyst at the CIA. I think we’re missing just what her connections were and are. Wikipedia doesn’t have a whole lot of information on her. When did she go to the CIA? Graduated high school in 1999, maybe graduated college when she was 22?

I also see where she lived in Granville, Ohio where she graduated from high school in 1999. (About 35 miles from Columbus). Granville is the home of Denison University, a small very elite, expensive liberal arts school. The town itself is an island of far left liberalism and elitists, in a sea of Ohio farmers and blue collar workers. Interesting blend.
I don’t know where I got the idea she came from Chicago - I posted that yesterday on another thread. Surprised no one corrected me. Maybe no one cared enough to make the correction. I completely overlooked the OH part of her graduation from high school.. College town - liberalism makes sense. Ithaca - Cornell and Ithaca College; same thing.
That’s what all this business is doing to us. Our brains are fried with all these ridiculous statements we are expected to accept. Good thing there are still a few people left who can think for themselves in this country.
I’ve seen Kacich recently on TV and while I liked him as a congressman, there is absolutely no way I would back him for a presidential candidate. What’s with OH? How could he have one set of principles in DC and another set in OH?
We lived in Centerville for 2 years in the ‘70’s - moved there for a business startup and back to CA 2 years later. Weren’t there long enough to get a feel for their politics. Lived in CA for a lot of years (50+), my husband a native - long enough to know we needed to retire somewhere else so here we are in GA.
Check this out.......a blueprint for raising a liberal child. I am betting that the mother who is the director of THE UNIVERSITY CLEAN ENERGY ALLIANCE OF OHIO, that supports clean energy RESEARCH is the contact that got her the job. Research= government money.

The bride’s father is the associate vice president and the director of the Center for Global Education at Maryville University in St. Louis. He is also a professor emeritus of political science at Ohio State University in Columbus. Her mother is the director of the University Clean Energy Alliance of Ohio, a statewide organization in Columbus that supports clean energy research.
