Unfortunately, so typical for our morally-relaticvistic age. Yeah, yeah, yeah, BOTH sides were simply “victims” of man's inhumanity to man” blah, blah
h, blah. Warfare was barbaric and cruel and we should have known better, yada, yada...come on folks, the Krauts of 1945 deserved every single incendiary they got plastered with. Only those who do not understand or read history, which encompasses many millions would even dare to compare the heroic allied bombing campaign and the airmen who sacrificed their lives so that we could, 70 years later we could question their motives and actions. WHAT A DISGRACE!

This has nothing to do with our moral relativism. The
Dresden bombing started being questioned pretty much right away, by Churchill himself. Being the good guys comes with a certain price, and part of that price is being able to say you took things a bit too far.
