Thanks for the Eglin info———I’m from MA and I don’t know of anyone who has visited that part of Florida.
Sounds terrific.
.
I drive back and forth through DeFuniak Springs 2-4 times annually on the way to 30A like many family folks throughout mid south
We went to St George last July and I loved it too....the Jerusalem of raw oysters in Appalachacola
I went to one year my senior year.....to Fairhope and lived at point clear
I love it.....being from Deep South I like moss and gulf air
It ain’t New Jersey I can tell you that.
It aint Minnesota I can tell you that.
LOL, I’ll cross that one off my list.
Geez...Flimsey Tinkerbelle is such an embarrassment to conservatives in S.C. He was Strom Thurmond’s anointed successor in 2002, then the advantages of incumbency took over after that. We have our Rockefeller-establishment type RINOs here, too. Nobody expected Lindsey to become a political cross-dresser....or maybe that explains a lot.
At least we have Scott Brown in the Senate. In the House, the S.C. 6th district is a giant gerrymandering amoeba that swallows up whole neighborhoods. I was in Joe Wilson’s district until 2008. James Clyburn is our Sheila Jackson Lee.
The Greenville-Spartanburg area is more techie & liberal than the rest of the state. But not like Asheville NC.
what’s the tourist demographic? Best time to go considering I don’t like crowds?
Thanks
I feel the same way about Alamogordo...just south of you.
Love the high desert, although I am currently in Alaska.
I am Heisenberg.... LOL!
Why don’t 2 or 3 million armed Americans all move en masse to Mexico.
Clean up the cartels and fix the corrupt governments. Then post sign saying “keep out”
It varies from cheaper to very expensive depending on area
30a is fanciest and Point Clear
Pensacola Beach inexpensive and beach just as nice
There are at least 100 beach or bay communities and big cities in that 500 miles of coast
Best thin season is August and April and early May or September and October
But watch for school break times
From last half of May till first of August is high season
Cold months are Late November till mid to late March....and they are wet
