I always enjoy reading the bumper stickers sharing their space with COEXIST. Obama/Biden, save a tree, give peace a chance, pro-choice, support women’s health, save the whales, and, on the back of a freight car-sized Suburban, “fight global warming.” I’ve noticed there aren’t many conservative bumper stickers anymore. At my former place of employment I walked the parking lot and saw oodles of Obama stickers and asked my conservative colleagues why there were no McCain stickers and the answer was uniform, they were afraid it would be an invitation to getting their car keyed. So, liberals have zero concern about expressing their views but conservatives know just how intolerant the other side is. At least around here.

Your assessment is a universal axiom, frankly. Conservatives treasure that for which they work. Liberals/Democrats, not so much. It’s because they likely got the money or car or whatever by means that didn’t involve ‘earning’.

On the back of my ‘66 landcruiser, I have a bumper sticker stating “Nuke the Whales”

Of course, you could have said the same if the parking lot had been full of McCain stickers.
