Block Lynch until hell freezes over and then some. Obummer doesn't want her confirmed. Holder remains until the "next AG" is confirmed.
He also will not be a target because he "resigned."
What could go wrong?

Block Lynch Until Obama Blinks On ImmigrationBlock Lynch until she agrees to give up DOJ documents regarding Fast & Furious.
Impeachment and conviction lies in Fast and Furious revelations.

Reagan compromised a lot with then speaker of House Tip ONeill. Note that spending by federal government almost tripled during 8 years of Reagan.
Your facts are very selective.
Reagan only had Republican Control of the Senate for 6 years and the House, which controls the Budget, was in Democrat hands during the whole of his 8 years. Add to that the GOP-E was constantly trying to hobble him and stab him in the back, and you get the picture.
What is also missing in your selective use of facts is that President Reagan managed to decrease several of the big Fed Departments even under these circumstances.
You also failed to mention his tax cuts and the fact that he needed to strengthen the military, which he did, when he had a Democrat Congress that hated his guts.
Would Ted Cruz have done the same things under the same situations?
Do I really have to say it???
Absolutely!

Obama would let the US explode before he would blinkAnd the whole time the media will be blaming Republicans for holding the President's nominee hostage.
So be it. I am in the mood for a fight.

Personally, I would block every nominee for anything, treaties to ex. orders, right down to dogcatcher. Right now it appears Cruz has the only operating set in the entire Congress.
Any nominee the lawless one sends down, rest assured they are cut from the same bolt of cloth he is. The Republicans need to decide to fight or piss on the fire and call the dogs.

When the time comes, they need to be ready to do that and to use the word “Illegitimate President”

Agreed. Though I would use the more descriptive title, Bas+ard President.

It’d be nice if they did block it but they won’t.

You forgot that Reagan had a veto pen which he rarely used against Tip O’Neill.
I admire all the tax cuts and reducing inflation and strengthening of military by Reagan, and he deserves due credit.
However, you can not deny government grew 3 times bigger under Reagan as measured by federal spending. Even the 2 Bushes did not expand government by that ratio.
If Cruz gets elected, I will bet you my social security check, he will not increase federal spending any more than inflation.

Please use common sense.
His first priority became to stop the Soviet Union in it's tracks. He could not do that without building up the military. He could not do that without an increase in military spending from the Carter years whom destroyed the military. He could not get an increase in the military budget through a Democrat controlled House and Senate (part of the time) without dealing with the Democrats.
Ted Cruz, when he becomes President, will not have that problem because he will at least have the House and quite possibly the Senate. He will be able to use that VETO Pen much more freely.

Growing the government THREE times bigger was a cardinal sin by president Reagan. USSR was never a dire emergency. Those people are not Iran or ISIS. They understand mutually assured destruction (MAD). The Islamists consider dying for Jihad the quickest path to Allah’s heaven. Actually we have a dire situation much worse today than during Reagan with USSR.
