Before reading this article, you should be warned, what this student was served at lunch is truly disgusting to look at.
A 15-year-old student posted online earlier this month the following picture of the school lunch he received:
The original poster wrote with the submission, "Complaining about school lunches? Here's my school's 'Philly Cheese Steak.'"
Recently, major changes came to school lunches because of the efforts of the First Lady, Michelle Obama. The USDA claims that "the new standards align school meals with the latest nutrition science and the real world circumstances of Americas schools."
It was only recently that dozens of teenagers posted their lunches to social media, specifically calling out Michelle Obama for the reforms she pushed.
See Kramer's reaction @ 1:16 here, just imagine the sandwich where the stain is...

Are you kidding? My cats never hork up anything that disgusting. At first I thought that the purple was some kind of over-boiled purple cabbage but after a second look it looks more like spoiled mystery meat.
The worst food I remember was as a young Marine at a joint service school on Ft Benjamin Harrison IN. The army cooks I believe were part of Project 100,000. Even their food looked better although it rarely tasted very good.
Looks like a slice of a diseased cow's brain.
Oh now I would send that straight to my democrat congress critter’s office ... of course I might get arrested for sending a toxic substance through the mail
Mystery Meat Personified!!
It looks like a picture of mooch-elle, the Worst Lady.
Add income equality and free stuff from the government.
To complete this lesson-we need to include the menu of the five star gourmet lunches the Obama children are served at their prestigious private school.
That object is probably composed of "meat byproducts" ... when fried, it exudes liquids which gel to form that purple bubbly stuff. It's probably not "spoiled" in the sense of bacterial decomposition ... it's just not fit for human consumption in the first place.
“... we always kept a bottle or two of Tabasco sauce...”
I don’t know, GreyFriar... all the hot sauce in the world isn’t going to improve that mess! :)
Military food has a well deserved wretched reputation ... yet those who make the comparison invariably find it superior to Moosechelle's School Lunches.
I'd rather eat MRE than eat the stuff pictured in this thread.
Chipped cream beef on toast was very good! Especially when you were hungry! The cream beef also disguised the powdered egg taste while in Goose Bay Labrador, Canada.
SOS = “Sh*t on a shingle”.
WHAT is wrong with those cooks?? HOW do they even serve that stuff to the kids?
What the h*ll is that? Don’t call it dog food. The stuff I feed my two ankle biters looks MUCH better. Probably tastes better, too.
Ha!!
Wookie meat.
Wit Wiz!
Didn’t some troops call MREs (Meal, Ready to Eat) three lies for the price of one?
That was after my time in service.
