It’s kind of the same as the ubiquitous “white privilege”. They can’t put their finger on it, but certain groups of people tend to prosper and others flounder, and it correlates somewhat with skin color, so it must be systemic racism and “white privilege”.

The real root of the discrepancy is cultural, but they don’t want to admit that.
