To be fair, a gasoline powered “supercar” is also a very expensive, nice looking toy.

natural gas power plants..

No matter how people look at them. Electric cars are NOT zero emissions unless charged by the sun.

You are ducking The Question. When your friends plug this toy in, where is the power coming from?

The wires in the charging cable will be approaching 1 inch diameter and will be reflected in additional car empty weight.

tonight i parked on my sidewalk but usually i park at least 500 feet away. and since i live in the city the entire cable to the car would gone each night.

I had a shop supe up my 80 mg and took off all the emission crap. When i worked on it in the parking garage basement where they kept the regularly parked cars, all of the workers complained about the fumes. i loved it and it was a very rich exhaust on that baby. it think there was a red hue most of the time cuz i might have has a tank of red tinted gas. it required leaded gas to run. ignition switch key didn’t do anything and a choke. this was 1985.

Maybe we can generate power from the copious amounts of gaseous hot air that erupt periodically from the blowhole in your head....

This was Jonascord’s question.

Really Billy, three days and you can’t come up with a relevant answer? You “progressives” are a sad bunch!

Sorry, I don’t live on FreeRepublic. I’ve spent the last few days with my wife, 6 children, and 5 grandchildren. Maybe you should try getting a life beyond being a FreeRepublic troll....

Bottom line— I don’t G.A.S where the power comes from for a Tesla. The purpose of my praise for it has nothing to with your political arguments.

Now please, go back to the darkness under your bridge, Smeagol....

You “progressives” have no valid arguments to you always descend into vulgar insults and name calling.

Don’t worry. Your IQ wasn’t worth mentioning in the first place.
