I've lost a few friends on my social networks thanks to this post.
I'm sorry not sorry. I just don't know how this is even debatable.
People who condemn this stuff must be confused because it seems like they think the intelligence community is engaging in these measures against terrorists for the fun of it...They're not!
The "torture" isn't taking place in a vacuum. I would LOVE for one of these self-styled liberal "doves," just one, to tell me that if they would hold their head high after a terror attack that killed thousands or more because its prevention failed due to a refusal to extract information using methods such as waterboarding.
And they also need to knock it off with the false equivalence. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the innocents whose heads terrorists will saw off (among other things) and broadcast on the internet would probably choose waterboarding for themselves if they were afforded the luxury of being given a choice between the two.
So these barbarian psychopaths are getting off MUCH easier than their victims. So knock it off with the morally-confused outrage.
I don’t have a problem with water-boarding terrorists.
I might have a problem with the definition of terrorist when it expanded to include NRA members, Tea Partiers, former service members, Constitutionalists, etc.

For anyone holding a muslim terrorist out there, the voltage to their testicles can be cheaply and easily doubled, tripled, and even more.

Here is a quick and easy way to determine whether or not something qualifies as torture. If reporters line up to try it so they can write about how terrible it is like they did with waterboarding then it is not tortue.
I don't recall any reporters ever lining up to try having their fingernails pulled out.
This is of course why they claim torture doesn't work.
If it doesn't work then you can claim you don't have to make this choice.

why not go through the due process of declaring waterboarding candidates enemies of the state withholding valuable information and extract it in any way possible... the anal feeding seemed a bit harsh though...

People think I am a little extreme when I say that Islam should be classified as a terrorist group and made illegal. But hey I like the constitution.

In the liberal moral universe, killing and mutilating people with bomb blasts from drones is AOK, but yelling at them during an interrogation is a war crime. You can hurt your brain trying to reconcile that.
