Georgia Virgili was one of the hundreds of thousands in the Bay Area who lost most of the conveniences of modern life.
I didnt have power, Virgili said. I couldnt get my car out of the garage, I have no food, I have no cash, so Im trying to forage for something. (CBS)

100 rounds is like ten minutes at the range. If you plan on staying alive for an extended period of time you need at least 10,000 rounds for every assault rifle.

What storm was that? Oh, it was awful. It's going to take them months to clean up the mess.
Here's her backyard:
Might need the Army Corps of Engineers and a few billion dollars though...

Either that, or “I’ll just come to your house and you’ll take care of me”.

How many spare barrels do you intend to stock?
Do you have the tooling and knowledge to replace/headspace them?

Oh, please!
We lost power around 4pm. So what. We drove to downtown and ate at the Panda Express as hey cook with propane. The restaurant lost their sign in the high winds. Then we went to meet some people and afterward drove home. Arrived about 8:30pm. Power came back by 9pm.
We disconnected the electric garage-door openers about five years ago, and have never missed them.
That guy in the San Francisco Bay area needs to rethink some things.

She doesnt know how to open her garage door with power out?
She deserves what she gets. Stupid should burn.
I was thinking the same thing. I ask many people where electricity comes from. The majority answer the light switch. Stupid should hurt.
She must think the hanging rope is a decoration. Defective Units (DU)

When we lived on the High Plains and in the gas camps of the Rockys we learned to keep two weeks food, fuel and lamps on hand just in case.
When the BIG ice storm hit here a few years ago power went out, and we used lanterns I had not lit in 25 years! They worked fine. We had fuel, food, water, and lamps and did well like my ancestors did on the plains.

Well, Virgili... get a “I CAN’T BREATHE” or “HANDS UP” sign and you can pretty much take whatever you need from the nearest available store.
