To expand on the story, the car was used in a string of burglaries in another town. The cops from that shop called to see if we had been in possession of the car the whole time.
Of course we hadn’t. We told those officers that the wallet of the perp was in the hands of the Seattle P.D. So, they could go get the wallet, and find the burglar.
Cops response? Nothing.
One isolated incident should not diminish the entire group. I said the vast majority NOT all. There are bad apples in any profession. But you know that.
