you’re fixated about osha? try all the epa violations...! :-)
and don’t get me started on the eeoc violations there. :-)
Years ago I read of similar operations when the Brits were in India, Pakistan or Afghanistan.
They reported that the tribesmen were ripping up the railroad rails for steel and turning them into excellent copies of Martinis or Lee Enfields. Fired bullets were salvaged, the rifling filed off, and reloaded. Dunno what they used for primers, but in the later years, camera or movie film were chopped up and used for powder. One officer reported the gunfights with this ammo was “quite spectacular”.

ALL AMERICANS TO MANUFACTURE ARMS
Phila[delphia] May 17 1776
"When I think of the number of men & arms gone from the Eastern Colonies I cannot help feeling for their situation if a powerful attack should be made there but doubt not proper steps are taken to furnish arms.
I think every person who can do any thing towards making arms should be employed in that business. Britain will no doubt exert her utmost efforts for our destruction but if they are repulsed in the manner. I expect this Campaign I am very confident they never will attempt another. This Summer will in all probability be the warmest America ever saw.
May the Supreme Governor of the Universe protect & Defend us Guide our Councils & Prosper our arms.

think I saw same thing, filmed in some old firepit of shop, and the old guy cranked out a fully auto rifle and fired off a burst in the back alley., dont think the locals thought twice about it, like starting up a car at used lot to see if it works
I'm not sure either but I vaguely remember that this village was filled with arms dealers and known for its lawlessness so the film crew had to tread carefully up there.....
Yes, beyond them in terms of unavailability.......They're making these firearms not for world distribution but rather for domestic use either by the Pakistanis to be used against the Taliban or by the Taliban against the Pakistanis..........
That's why the area is considered to be one of the most dangerous places on the planet.......
