This pope is a big disappointment and is probably going to screw up the Catholic religion big time. Its a good thing I avoid costly middlemen and deal directly with God.

They will talk plenty, However, they will never say anything reasonable or logical. Their books allow them to, at the same time, strongly assert positions which are opposite to each other and mutually exclusive and they are perplexed when westerners cannot understand their circular logic.

a very very very very very very very very very very very sad thing if His Holiness lends any credibility to “Islam”
.... it might mislead somebody to accept or support the wrong side in the spiritual war between Heaven and Satan

The Pope is lucky to still have all body parts attached.

I waver between his beng an idiot, magically trapped in the early 1970s, and malevolent. On the whole, I’m coming down in the side of idiot. He’s doing a remake of “Being There” that involves the entire Catholic Church. That is, people think every weird gesture or remark of his is incredibly profound, simply because he’s so out to lunch they can’t even comprehend the possibility.

If he was just an average Infidel I would think he is just naive, and uniformed on Islam.
But his top position in a religious organization makes me think stupid is a better way to describe him. - Tom

“... the Foundation Stone, has great significance for Jews, Christians and Muslims ...”
For Jews, Christians, the significance is real, for the muslims the significance is paying homage to the first Umayyad ruler, Muawiya, an 7th century Caliph, and the tourist attraction he built.

The Pope would open the Vatican and St. Peter’s to Muslims, but let him try to go to Mecca or even say mass in Saudi Arabia. Islam is a religion based on intolerance and bigotry
