Bill Cosby has been revered for years as a comedian talking about his youthful experiences in a black neighborhood. His stories are peppered with descriptions of the quirky personalities of his friends, most notable among them, Fat Albert.
Why is Bill Cosby suddenly a bad guy? There has been extensive media coverage, over the past few days, with at least six women now accusing Bill Cosby of sex crimes...purported to happen a long time ago. It has become typical in these kinds of cases for one person to speak out then have several accusers pile on after "consulting their attorneys". The examples of Herman Cain and Clarence Thomas come to mind.
Coincidentally, a few things they all have in common is that their accusers waited years to make the claims and they are all, Cosby, Cain and Thomas, successful black men who have "broken the mold". As a matter of fact all three have been criticized by activists for not being black enough. Specifically, Cosby has made the speaking circuits for some time now, scolding the black community, particularly the youth, about the loss of values in their segment of society and has advocated reform.
It is possible that he is not person we saw publicly, but, the treatment he is receiving by the media is typical of the type that was used to try to destroy the reputation of Cain and Thomas when they were soaring with higher aspirations. That appears to be more than coincidence.

I guess I didn’t properly express my opinion. Cosby had developed a reputation for being an upright human being. It’s clear that he had at least one affair during his marriage, and from the recent accusations, perhaps a number of affairs. Some of the women involved are alleging that he used his status and power to either rape or otherwise bully them into having sex with him.
If any of that is true, and at least that one affair appears to be true, he is not the man that he or his supporters have claimed him to be.
These things may not be important to you, or perhaps they are acceptable to you. That is your choice.
That's all true about the memes and the Internet.
But given the way the media works they probably could have ignored it.
I suspect they viewed Cosby as another story they could cover to avoid having to say anything critical about he administration.
That doesn't mean Cosby isn't a bad guy, though.
I will print this out and show my wife. She’s been trying to teach me how to empty the dishwasher for 28 years. She will be happy to see there is still hope.
LOL
You miss the point why is it that only non liberal blacks are exposed?.

I didn’t miss it. I don’t believe it is a point. I’m thinking a serious rapist like this isn’t floating around in each political persuasion of each race at a time.
The only political point worth making is that probably a liberal black comedian dared say this.
Well since your last self-righteous reply the count is now 17. More than you knw about when you posted.
I don’t know what your point is but I had a pretty good idea, I had seen the numbers 10 and 13 described as supporting the 3005 case and I knew that others were coming forward, that is why in post 69 I said that “I think the count is approaching 20”.
