Buffalo, NY A high profile case of Buffalo police killing a mans dog while looking for non-existent drugs, has led to a Freedom of Information request revealing some sadistic figures.
On June 3, 2013 Buffalo police raided a mans home to look for crack cocaine. He was not there, nor was the crack.
The home belonged to Iraqi war veteran, Adam Arroyo and his 2-year-old pit bull Cindy.
Upon breaking down the door to Arroyos home, officers encountered Cindy, who was barely 50 pounds, and shot and killed her. They were at the wrong apartment.
According to use of force reports requested by WGRZ-TV under the Freedom of Information Law, Buffalo Police shot 92 dogs from Jan. 1, 2011 through Sept. 2014. Seventy-three of those dogs died. Nineteen survived.
To provide a comparison, Buffalos numbers more than triple the amount of dog shooting incidents involving police in Cincinnati, a municipality of similar size.
The numbers are what the numbers are, Buffalo Police Chief of Detectives Dennis Richards said in an interview with WGRZ. Certainly, no officer takes any satisfaction in having to dispatch a dog.
Perhaps an even more disturbing reality is that nearly 30 percent of these dog shootings in Buffalo were carried out by one man. The unidentified officer has shot 26 dogs, killing 25 of them, in just the last three years.

yes, his sister got lucky ... and I can’t decide which is worse .... gassed? and can’t get no loving ... but what an oven ... they offer!
So How Do Feel America? Want your gas?
If this topic is unimportant to you, why are you here?
If it’s to dazzle and shame us with your moral superiority,
I’m afraid it is having the opposite effect.
Thanks for being one of the good guys.
One gripe, why haven’t you posted any of your pictures on your FR page?
If all you guys do is whine about hating LOEs because a bunch of dogs get shot, all the while the border is about to be overrun and the only help you are going to get is from LOEs, I find this unbelievably pathetic. Grow up and leave the petty stuff alone.
It's obvious that you don't consider it even worth comment that there is a likely sociopath on the Buffalo police force, yet you feel that it is important enough to comment on the thread nonetheless. I'm sure there are some Fergeson threads out there that you can find to drool over. Some of us adults, however, are concerned that we're seeing this kind of behavior from police and understand that individuals with a history of animal abuse are often just a small step away from similar abuse of human beings.
As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised at all if one were to peel back the veneer of anonymity protecting this thug and likely antisocial deviant, we'd find that he has a history of abuse of citizens as well.
Of course, there are potential rioters amongst the racists gathering in Mo. to support a thug who met his predictable early demise, so we're not supposed to notice any other bad actors out there who might threaten our communities, because the squirrel in MO is waving something shiny to draw our attention.
Fortuately, some of us have the ability to multi-task, and understand that we should be vigilant against threats against our communities from all directions, not just feral racists.
Well said!
Cops are the dumbest of society and usually with serious personality disorders.
There are some bad Cops. There are some bad Teachers. But there are bad people in every type of job.
John Wayne Gacy was a Contractor, cook, precinct captain, director of Chicago's annual Polish Constitution Day Parade, a member of the Moose Club, a member of the Jaycees, performed fundraising events and parades in addition to voluntarily entertaining hospitalized children while dressed as a clown, said he was bi-sexual but.....All while killing at least 33 people.
So are everyone of the people that do the same things Gacy did also Serial Killers?
Pass this test or well flunk you and youll become a cook or a cop.
Where the hell did you hear that from? I bet the closet you've been to the Military is COD. And projecting your own problems (ie; personality disorders )unto the Police is not helping yourself by the way.

No. My mailbox is on a post by the street. They drive and deliver the mail. I assumed it was like that everywhere now. Perhaps it is a newer vs older home thing. I remember our homes back in 60s had mailboxes at the door. But homes in my area built in 70s, 80s, 90s etc have mailboxes at street. Interesting.
St. Bernard - Cujo?
At 13, I had a paper route in Alaska, at the end of town where the roads weren’t even paved. Lots of people kept large dogs, big enough to scare the bears away from getting in their trashcans. I dealt with large aggressive dogs on a daily basis and I never had to shoot one and I never got bit. There were a few that I had to subdue on a regular basis with a good fist hammer blow to the top of the head. You learn to read which dogs are a threat and which aren’t. I don’t understand cops shooting dogs on sight. A lot of these dogs shot are not aggressive breeds.
I had some pics up there. But just yesterday shut down my FB page. Their crap about firearms got to be to much. The latest is they wouldn't let a guy advertise his 'Safes' because they were firearm related ;/

Well, at least we know your pants are hanging low and you are out there with your brudders ready to rumble. Between your work on the dog and your hate for LOEs, you multi-taskers are carefully watching the border invasion. Amazing...grow up.

I hope you liked them.

Go look at the REAL concern America is facing. Let them shoot the stupid dogs. Wake up and see what the Founder of FR is posting.
There's your problem, you start with a false premise and come to a false conclusion.
What is pathetic and petty is the arrogance you demonstrate in your presumptuous judging of others.
It was a call of a Burglary in Progress. I drove up (blacked out) didn't see anything. There were houses and trailers intermixed on the block. Only a few of the houses had addresses. Lady on phone with the dispatcher had know idea what her house looked like and whether it was a house or trailer ;/
I went back to the corner and started counting houses got to a trailer and figured that was the house. Walked up to the front door and knocked. Cujo comes out from under the porch ready to take my leg off. I think I did an 8.0 - 100. A 3.9-40.
I was on the roof of my car before I even knew I was on the roof ;O My partner is coming back from the Jail is a couple of minutes away (which in Police time seems like years when your by yourself). I'm talking nice to Mr. Rabies (yes I did have my gun out - encase he came up to join me) and telling him I'm his best friend.
After about a minute or so, he gets bored and walks off around the back of the trailer. I start coming off the car. I get to the front door again and now I can hear some screaming coming from inside. Shit just got real. I radio my partner to step it up and I'm going in. Partner rolls up just as Godzilla comes back around for a second chance at some Chicken-Ed-Pie.
Dog sees new chew toy and goes for it. I try doorknob and it's unlock. I make my announcement and get no response. But the screaming is louder. I radio for Partner to get his ass in here. Screaming is coming from down a hall. I slowly advance as I make my announcements. Nothing.
Loud screaming coming from bathroom. POLICE DEPT COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Screaming continues. I kick the door off the hinges. Guy and wife are making love in the shower. ;O
Burglary call in next house... I come back the next day and put in new bathroom door for screamers. There was Burglary at the next house. All windows and doors locked and closed.
Cujo was later warned on a number of occasions for chasing small kids. Finally Animal Control was called to pick him up. And I was called to assist. I blocked off the intersected about 300 yards away. He was returned to his owners after they got their fence fixed.
And yes I laughed at myself about that night and still do.

That one really ticked me off too.
Great photo!
