I still fear for the grandchildren...Obammy should have never been elected. In 20 or 25 years this country will be in a one helluva mess....worse than it is now.
It’s amazing, but this really does seem to be the mindset of the left. I say this as someone who was a self-identified liberal when I was younger. The start of my journey to conservatism was seeing Gingrich speak when I was an intern for a Dem Rep on Capitol Hill.

You are so right. After all, I am not a republican. I am a constitutionist, a tea party conservative, a libertarian to some extent.
The Republican elites hate the tea party more than the Democrats. This is the problem. They see the real reformers, the Palins, the Pauls, the Cruzes who will step on their party cake. They don’t REALLY want to STOP spending all that fun money -Pork is Fun!. They just have better ideas for that cookie jar. They don’t want to have responsible immigration. They want to open those gates too. They like to have people to “use” just as much as the Democrats do.
We need to hold them to the fire. Sarah Palin style. Reform. Clean house. Put the crooks in jail and give the people the fruits of their labors and the bounty of their state and the personal freedom they are entitled to. And it’s NOT going to happen, because the powerful protect the powerful. It’s all about the 1%, and we have them too.
I see that this post has attracted the usual smattering of FR hand-wringers and defeatists.
