Naw, methinks theres a difference here. A hoplophobe is afraid of the tools. A disarmst doesnt fear the tools (likely owns em herself and hires others to keep em handy, no qualms about using them) but considers disarming others an axiomatic imperative. Pelosi is clearly the latter.That is true, but I think most of the MDAs are of the phobic variety. The people organizing them are Nefarians who know exactly what they're up to.

I just came upon a thread where you used the word “disarmist.” It was a new word to me, but it was obvious what it meant, so I kept reading without looking it up. I looked it up later, because I wanted to know more about this word that I was adding to my vocabulary. I was surprised not to find it in the dictionary. It feels like a word that has been around a while. Good word. It has my vote.
