The M.E. says that Fuddy could not swim. But that is not important because the life vest kept her afloat. No one had to swim to survive.

And the M.E. would know this how?

I’ll have to go back and read again, but if I’m not mistaken, her brother I think stated that she was an “accomplished swimmer”.

If not she may be the only person in Hawaii who didn’t know how to swim. I’m only exaggerating a little bit there but you get my point. I hope.
