I haven't been on this website in some time. But in the shadow of Congressman Billybob, I am running for Congress. But instead of the 11th District of North Carolina, I am running for the American Samoa Delegate at Large to the United States House of Representatives
There are NINE (9) candidates for this seat. The Incumbent is a Democrat who was medically evacuated over a year ago. Eni is finding himself at 71 to be on dialysis and perhaps the electorate might see him as someone too old to be re-elected for another (14th) term.
Good luck.
WOOOHOOOO Ude!
(RIP CongressmanBillybob, one of FR’s finest)
Breakthrough FReeper BUMP!
Wishing you much luck. Welcome back.
Although not always correct, according to Ballotpedia there are only 2 candidates for American Samoa Delegate to congress, incumnbent Eni F.H. Faleomavaega, Democrat and challenger Aumua Amata, Republican.
I searched Faleomavaega and the only reference to his illness is from a conspiracy website.
He does not look good in some of his pictures on Facebook, but certainly not on deaths door.
The local American Samoa news websites are severely lacking in info on any local politics let alone the congressional race.
who should I vote for?
I will freep the poll.
Um, that would be Mark Ude in the Ude for Congress thread. :p

I am off to bed.
