“Good Lord man, how hard are you working to find something to pick a fight over?”

You’re the one who usually does that about Catholics voting for Democrats. How’s it feel to happen to you?

Can’t imagine how bugging out can work with Ebola, unless you’re cooped up in an apartment in a major city.

At this time there is no indication that there will be 7 million cases by January. To this point, the number of people infected has doubled every 30 days or so. At that rate, we can expect about 200,000 folks to become infected by January. Between now and then we can try to understand the disease and develop strategies to slow it’s spread.

Of course it would help if someone could convince Obama to get his head out of his ass...

Be prepared, but don’t panic.

“One cool thing about an Ebola survival scenario, is that we still have all the luxuries, hot showers, flush toilets, our full kitchens, internet, and air conditioning.”

...for now. But I certainly agree, as far as survival scenarios are concerned, this one is among the easiest: Shelter in place, but don’t count on public services holding up throughout...there is just no way to predict the extent of the panic (i.e., what if water treatment people stay home too?).

Your hypothesis is true and sound. OUR OWN GOVERNMENT, THE SO-CALLED "AUTHORITIES", THE CDC, THE TREATING HOSPITAL AND E V E R Y O N E FROM TOP TO BOTTOM IS DOING E V E R Y T H I N G IN THEIR POWER TO LIE, TO OBFUSCATE, TO TELL HALF-TRUTHS, TO KEEP THE PUBLIC AT LARGE/AMERICAN CITIZENS IN THE ABSOLUTE DARK FOR "POLITICALLY CORRECT" REASONS IN ORDER TO DENY HOW INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS, LIFE-THREATENING AND EASILY INFECTIVE, SPREADABLE, AND C O N T A G I O U S EBOLA REALLY IS IN ORDER TO KEEP King Obola's American boarders OPEN to ILLEGAL ALIENS and King Obola's commercial airlines continuing to FLY in and out of highly infected AFRICAN countries carrying INFECTED people who knowingly or unknowingly are carriers of this insidious disease to America, Europe,... fill in the blank.

Oh and Obola's new CDC screening procedures AT "SELECTED" AIRPORTS include a questionnaire asking these people:

"Are you infected with Ebola, yes or no?"

Who in their right mind would believe ANYTHING ANY OF THESE PEOPLE FLYING FROM HIGHLY INFECTED AREAS HAVE TO SAY WHEN ANSWERING Obola's CDC questions?

Yea, these new Obola CDC screening procedures are totally reassuring given the fact that the first ILLEGAL ALIEN who flew to America for treatment KNEW THAT HE HAD EBOLA AND L I E D WHEN HE WAS ASKED ESSENTIALLY THE SAME QUESTIONS!

NOT! This is ANIMAL FARM where "All animals are equal BUT some animals are more equal than others." If you want to get a glimpse of what we are facing individually, socially and as a nation watch the movie CONTAGION.

It would take a heck of a scenario for the government to allow utilities to die off.

I can show you threads where the prediction is 140 million dead Americans pretty soon.

Another thread predicts up to 75% of the world’s population dead by December 2015.

You should see the predictions of individual posters.

It is suspended on oxygen molecules. We know that now. Hazmat failed. This is beyond a nightmare. plastic rooms with vents and gauze to breath through— NOW!!! It will be too late. !.7 million cases in west Africa by January!! for God sakes!!

Check my posting history when I tell you I am not a pollyanna. You need direct contact with infected fomites or within range of aerosol dispersion. If it is winter, stay away from vomit in the snow. The virus loves the cold and dark.

There is no reason to fear infection in your home. There may be a very real reason to fear disruption of services. Just practice keeping your hands away from your face and use gloves if it spreads in the US.

I don’t know, I do own the Gore-Tex MOPP suit with mask and accesories, but I don’t know how much those medical suits cost.

“It would take a heck of a scenario for the government to allow utilities to die off.”

Hard to tell...just a kink in our ‘wonderful’ Just-In-Time inventory system and things get very ugly, very fast.

But in your defense, I haven’t seen any news of utility disruptions in West Africa (beyond the usual abysmal normalcy there)...but we should watch.

In America our primary mission would be keeping utilities working, it doesn’t take all that many people nor does it necessarily involve a lot of public exposure, and the military is very up to speed on utility restoration and operating and repairing.

We have much military that not only does that as part of their daily work on ships and bases, but are to go into destroyed cities and get things going.

i believe she either didn’t follow protocol, or she did, but someone else didn’t and if affected her. the very best cannot follow it 100% of the time. all it takes is one time of not following it. she may have followed it but if someone else didn’t and you use something they screwed up on, you’re infected.

Well you are assuming there will be people driving the trucks to deliver the supplies and fuel to keep the grid going for the Internet, air conditioning and kitchen appliances.

what i thoughtnwas the joke on the joke of not only continuing the flights,’was the idiot whomcame on about the extra screening and said the eight extra airports doing more screening see 94% of the travellers from these countries.

6% aren’t. how’d you like to be in that 6%? how many in the 6% not extra screened, which by most accounts is temperatures taken by remote machine, not as accurate as actual temperature taking by mouth probe. and a couple questions that can be lied about.
