Lauren Martin Here's the biography of the writer

Lauren “LMoney” Martin grew up with one goal: to be the first woman engineer. Upon finding out there already were women engineers, and unable to pass Calc 1, she chose to study the beautiful and honorable art of advertising. After advertising proved uninspiring, she attempted a career in acting which was over before she could get on stage. And when she failed at everything else she decided to become a writer.

So she's failed at everything she's tried. And she's the voice of the millennial. LOL

Right. Some of these things are silly, and they're all so harmless that I can't see why corporate American would be afraid of them.

I read an interesting article about "Millennials" that listed a number of social/cultural trends among them. Two of them really caught my eye:

1. Millennials are not big advocates for the environment (most of them don't give a crap about it).

2. Millennials do not gamble very much, which is one reason why the casino industry is in trouble.

56. We HATE the older people...but we need our mommies to be helicopter mommies and call our boss if he’s mean to us.

57. We won’t know what to do if our parents die and don’t leave us the house.

58. We aren’t afraid to quit...but we quit everything not just the stupid stuff.

“Old man sitting at a bus stop. Kid sits down, says “Old man, you didn’t grow up with laptops, the internet, cell phones.”

The old man smiled. He said, “You’re right. We had to invent them. What have you done?””

That is so true, but people tend to think the younger generation only knows tech.

~Sounds like it was written by a kid in junior high.~

It seems like they would stay like that into their 40s. Still at their parents’ basements at the time.
