In a guest appearance on Hannity last night Lt. Col. Ralph Peters, a Fox News analyst, made an epic rant regarding Obama’s much heralded air campaign against terrorist targets in Syria. He observed the massive bombardment by American military planes and missiles committed one very critical flaw: they occurred at night.
“In the euphoria, the delight of seeing all these cruise missiles taking off and dramatic footage, all the analysts are missing one really big thing: these strikes last night were designed to limit terrorist casualties; these were not serious, manful strikes,” said Peters.
“I’ll give you the evidence. Why did we go in at night? There was no air defense threat. We could’ve done it in broad daylight. If you wanted to kill terrorists you would’ve hit those headquarters, those logistics sites at 10 or 11 in the morning when they were crowded with leaders, staff officers, flunkeys, etc.
“Instead we hit empty buildings at night. We knocked down antennas, we blew out windows. That is not the way to defeat terrorists who behead Americans. We should’ve gone in in the morning, gone in heavy and killed… acres and acres of dead terrorists. That is tactical success,” continued Peters.
Knocking down buildings and taking out conference rooms is hardly going to dent the progress of ISIS. The threat we face isn’t in the concrete below the terrorist’s feet, but the ideology that floats between their ears. And the best way to end the threat is by killing them.
Obama’s campaign has little to do with destroying ISIS and everything to do with making him seem like a tough guy six weeks before the midterm elections. His approval ratings on foreign policy are tanking and nothing says “I’m not a total wimp” like waves of cruise missiles.
Essentially the bombing of Syria was a multimillion dollar ad campaign for Democrats.
By destroying buildings, but leaving the terrorists intact Obama missed a golden opportunity to do lasting damage to our enemies, which is no way to win a war.
Our ordnance likely did far more damage to their Allah Cola vending machine than our ordinances did! ;-)

We blew up Syria's government buildings which were taken over by ISIS. They were empty at the time.

Jerusalem News said we had killed 70 top officers and about three hundred of ISIS army. That was yesterdays figure.
This has to be a very small figure for the ordinance launched and used. One vid on a Navy vessel launched 15 cruise missiles alone.
Evidently this to be a scare factor and not a search and destroy mission!
Much of the middle east is treeless desert. Wouldn’t Clown Prince nobama’s recently developed “strategy” be significantly more effective if he bombed his fellow moozlums during the day when they are roaming around in the open cutting off heads and so forth? Now...if he is doing a photo-op Kabuki war, his so-called “strategy” makes sense.
Yeah, that's exactly what I thought all this was.

watch the replays of the news broadcast from the first night of strikes. Two large “HQ” are attacked. The parking lots around them are empty.
Just saw something on Fox and thought it odd there were no vehicles in the lot and even odder no one stumbled outside after being bombed devices that didn’t level the place.
I’m use to seeing the dazed and confused come into view, after attacks like this and being gunned down.
