If The GOP Loses the SenateBlame the Establishment By Laura Ingraham September 19, 2014
Now the concerned whispers are becoming audible groans. Turns out after premature high-fiving in certain Republican circles, the GOP just may be on the verge of blowing its opportunity to take control of the U.S. Senate in November. A few of us have been warning for months that unless the GOP responded smartly to the huge public outcry over the border surge, it would miss a chance to energize disaffected voters. We also urged our friends in the establishment that they shouldnt take their primary victories against more-conservative candidates as a sign that they could play it safe during the campaign.
The public wants policies to strengthen the American workforce, raise its standard of living, and renew and protect the homeland. It wants to see an affirmative agenda to spur growth and economic opportunityone that goes beyond dump Obamacare. But the voters are enduring uninspiring candidates, boring political ads, and wishy-washy campaign statements on immigration enforcement. One of the only Senate campaigns playing the immigration issue correctly is that of moderate Scott Brown in New Hampshire. And guess what? After trailing Jean Shaheen for months, he is now in a dead-heat race with the pro-amnesty Democrat incumbent. Go figure.
Then theres the issue of money. Writing in Thursdays Wall Street Journal, establishment fave Karl Rove says the GOP Senate majority is still in doubt, noting that the GOP Senate candidates are being outspent $109 million to $85 million in media buys. He urges Republicans to open their wallets to candidates whom they have never met. Heres what I say to this entreaty:

+1
Then they turn around and beg the very same conservatives they labeled racists and extremists for support.
Screw them.
You dont win elections by urinating on your base."
Bump
How can you lose something that you don’t have? Instead of building and assaulting straw men it’s time to close ranks and STFU.
Close ranks with what and who?
The GOP/RNC made it abundantly clear with the Thad Cochran primary that they view Conservatives the same way the Democrat/DNC do.
They see us as “extremists” and “racists” who must be destroyed.
Until the GOP figures out that you don’t win by urinating on your base ad they have, they do not deserve support.
If people support the GOP RINOs no matter what, nothing will ever change.
Don’t nationalize stuff. The Democrats want that more than anything.
Every time I get a request for $$$$ from the Republican National Committee I send it back with a big FU on it & tell them my party is the Tea Party!
Tell that to the RNC/GOP establishment.
They’ve done a heck of a fine job.
Just look at how they bolloxed up a bunch of seats here in New York!
The RNC pushed Dede Scozzafava on us, refused to back the conservative, and literally HANDED a seat to the Dems just to spite conservatives.
Blame creative vote counting.
Dump fat boi Tokyo Rove.
Even a broken clock is right sometimes.
Then they turn around and beg the very same conservatives they labeled racists and extremists for support.

Try telling that to the flying monkeys Prince Reibus has dispatched to post on Free Republic lately.
Yup, seen ‘em around.
The Money as a path to POWER.
IMHO, it is really all about the POWER.
“What we are seeing is a return to the same GOP we had”.
And in my opinion, that IS STUPID!
