Q&A during Obama's NATO Press Conference. Guardian Reporter & Obama. Q: Some Democrats want you to delay action on immigration reform until after the elections. Will you do so?
Obama says he has been pretty busy this week, focused on Ukraine and Isis.
Fairly soon he will consider what the next steps are.
What he is sure is that the US needs immigration reform.
The House Republicans have sat on legislation, and delayed for more than a year.
In the absence of congressional action, he will act. There is a need for more resources at the border. And he wants to give people living in the US illegally a path to being able to be in the US legally.
He expects to be looking at this on his plane on the way back to the US.
In the absence of action from Congress, he will act himself.
And thats it. The press conference is over.
I will post a summary shortly.

Poor thing can’t multi-task. We’ve seen that many times.
Obama Says He’s Been Busy On ISIS Strategy...
++++++++
Well, I can believe it because when he’s commanding the Islamic war on we infidels by proxy, it DOES keep him busy.
I wonder if Bill Maher will retract his claim that Obama is a “multi-tasking ninja”...
The Obama administration also has said it puts a priority on deporting illegal immigrants with criminal records.
Just have to believe them; Obama also said If you like your (health insurance) policy, you can keep your policy, period. Who could forget shovel-ready projects and Recovery Summer of 10, 11 12, 13 et al. No boots on the ground, peace with honor, close the detention camp in Guantanamo Bay, to pledge to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. Are just some of the whoppers coming from the Obama administration.
