If you don’t have a generator that you can use to run your well pump, get a rocket bucket.

Some are made sturdy enough that you could use them a lot before they wear out. These are designed to fit inside existing wells that have been drilled, and manually bring up the water in the bucket.

Okay, I’m googling “rocket bucket” to no avail. What is a rocket bucket? (We also have a well, a fairly shallow one, so I’m looking for a way, or better yet, two ways, to get water out of that well when the stuff hits the fan!)
