Burger King & The Flame-Broiled Whopper of Socialism

Considering Canada’s corporate tax rate is 26%, compared to America’s 40%, why wouldn’t Burger King relocate for more sensible and profitable pastures? After all, that’s why people open businesses...to make freaking money...not to be a willing victim of wealth redistribution! Throw in the endless stupidity and cost of Obamacare regulations, which forces fast food chains to pay for the health insurance of minimum wage workers, and you have a surefire recipe for economic food poisoning. What’s next; forcing business to pay for employees’ sex partners, birth control and abortions? According to Lena Dunham - the author of the “devirginized” Obama voting experience - people are incapable of understanding the personal consequences of choice: AKA, being responsible for their sex life, education or finding a better job to pay for the "morning after" costs of said life. Has America learned nothing from socialist France who just ditched their leftist chief economist for a “Right Wing” banker? If entrepreneurs are taking the initiative and financial risk to create more jobs, shouldn’t government, at the very least, craft a fertile environment that rewards hard work, success, and thus encourages more economic development rather than suffocate it? Sadly, that truth has become a rhetorical question.

There’s a reason why a staggering 12 million have left the workforce since 2008 and welfare recipients have nearly doubled. Liberals are destroying the economy by burdening the pocketbook of earnest labor with endless social programs that do nothing to hold people accountable for their own livelihood and survival. Ferguson, like Detroit, is a sterling example of that socio-economic fiasco; loyalty to nothing, entitled to everything. Fostering more dependence without a means to meet those ends is the equivalent of inviting more illegal immigrants onto your raft until it sinks and everyone drowns. Considering Barack Obama has raised the debt by a mind-numbing 7 trillion in 6 years, the government should be answering for their reckless leadership rather than the leftist media attacking Burger King for refusing to be another cautionary tale of socialism. Sorry, Harry Reid, no one is going to take your Nazi oath of economic allegiance, regardless of who is president, but especially to a narcissistic propagandist who can’t even balance his own "racist" checkbook. The only oath required is to that of economic freedom and limited government; the two most non-negotiable ideals America was founded upon. The time has come to renew that pledge without prejudice.

You’re welcome. Dead on commentary.

Actually what it means that, while BK will have to 35% on revenues in the US, it will not have to pay taxes to the Federal government on earnings overseas, that were already taxed!

Why should the Brazilian Hedge Fund that owns Burger King pay US Income Taxes on overseas earnings?
