FERGUSON, Mo. -- Michael Brown Jr. was on the verge of starting college, eager to launch himself into the adult world. Instead, on Monday he'll be mourned at his funeral, more than two weeks after his fatal shooting by a white police officer an act that ignited days of violent protests and reawakened racial tensions that still linger in the nation.
Brown, who was unarmed when he was killed, became an instant symbol of racial injustice as protesters flooded into the streets after his death. Civil rights leaders said the shooting in this predominantly black St. Louis suburb revived long simmering questions about police treatment of minorities across the country....

No, look above you. HVAC.
he elected to launch his #300 body as a human battering ram against a police officer, short;y after manhandling a store clerk during a robbery...........
I wish some folks would carry signs regarding the deaths of all the little kids in big body (bags) every night in Chicago
I guess he could use the low IQ defense then. Oh wait, nevermind.
just a CHILD!
Him wast just a big ol’ teddy bear.
Symbols can be whatever we need them to be.
Excitable Boy, they all said.
An unnamed source tells us that Brown was going to become a pediatric neurosurgeon and do wonderful complimentary surgery for the poor and underprivileged children of sub-Saharan Africa. He gave it up however because someone had already done that and instead turned to his new (short)life work of robbing convenience stores. Sad!/s
“Brown was preparing to attend Vatterott College, where he planned to study to become a heating and air conditioning technician.”

He was a big thug in a big body...thief, bully and thug!!! I personally think his exit saved a lot of people a lot of grief!!!
Probably enrolled in the music program at Vatterott College ex'treme Institute by Nelly - St Louis. Diidn't Nelly show up in Ferguson to flap his gums?
He was getting ready to go to Voc_- Tech school for A/C mechanic. Years ago this would have been part of High School. Going on about it as if he were seeking a 4 year degree is nothing but media spin.
He was headed to the state run college of hard knocks know as “The Big house”! Majoring in finer art of the heist!!
Michael Brown Jr. was on the verge of starting college, eager to launch himself into the adult world.

Starting college ??? Which college and when ???
eager to launch himself...seems he had already launched himself, months or years before..He was already an expert at robbery and assault..
the adult world.. again he was already operating in the adult world..though not acting like a responsible accountable adult..
He's had some brushes with the law in the past I'm sure, to what extent is the unknown. When he strong-armed that store clerk, I doubt it was the first time he'd used physical intimidation and threats to get his way. He's probably always been a big kid, and has bullied his way through life. From that store video, it looks like his first response to being confronted by anyone is to resort to physical violence. That's a pattern in his behavior...and wasn't just exhibited for the first time in that video.
I am also afraid we will all have to hear about this asshole all frigen fall and winter
