Where does all this stuff that youve heard about this morning the victim feminism, the gay rights movement, the invented statistics, the rewritten history, the lies, the demands, all the rest of it where does it come from? For the first time in our history, Americans have to be fearful of what they say, of what they write, and of what they think. They have to be afraid of using the wrong word, a word denounced as offensive or insensitive, or racist, sexist, or homophobic.
We call it Political Correctness. The name originated as something of a joke, literally in a comic strip, and we tend still to think of it as only half-serious. In fact, its deadly serious. It is the great disease of our century, the disease that has left tens of millions of people dead in Europe, in Russia, in China, indeed around the world. It is the disease of ideology. PC is not funny. PC is deadly serious.
If we look at it analytically, if we look at it historically, we quickly find out exactly what it is. Political Correctness is cultural Marxism. It is Marxism translated from economic into cultural terms. It is an effort that goes back not to the 1960s and the hippies and the peace movement, but back to World War I.

Thanks for posting. Saved it.
It is not just political correctness. I have noticed it in family/friends. Make one mistake or say one wrong thing and....”I am done with them” is the first thing out of their mouths. The axe comes out. In the last year I have seen it first hand and dealt with it just yesterday. It used to take something that was actually malicious to make someone outraged or offended. Not anymore. The punishment is swift and final.
The whole thing is ridiculous.
Simply put, as a consequence of parents not making sure that their children are being taught about the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers, corrupt federal politicians are successfully trading votes for the constitutionally indefensible federal legalization of special privileges and sin.
That’s around the first time I heard it, around 1986-87. It became a topic of conversation right around that time. Truthfully, I thought it was so Orwellian, so unamerican, so warped to the radical left, that it would eventually and rather quickly be culturally rejected. After all, this was America! We wouldn’t stand by and tolerate such an unseemly, creepy, suffocating kind of “mindthink” being imposed on us, right?
Yet here we are in 2014, and it has grown a thousand-fold in size, enveloping every aspect of culture and life. Where even daring to oppose it, like expressing the view that marriage is defined as being between a man and a woman will conceivably get you fired, sued, and deemed a social outcast.
Back in the day, I always thought of “political correctness” as a stuffy Miss Manners of political discourse for the uptight. I never dreamed it would morph and grow into the huge thought-control-monster it has become.

Looked for the precise reference on Ask/Google/et al. but came up empty. I know the quote can be found in one of Omar Kazemzadeh's Russian history texts (because I used it in college).
The last two Fortune 500 corporations I worked at where frightening. In one you could be “sentenced” to attend a week long off-campus course in “diversity, gender studies and cultural sensitivity.” There were any number of triggers starting with cultural insensitivity, which could be manifested in, for example, having a bumper sticker supporting traditional marriage. Both of these companies had government contracts as their only income. Much of this madness linked back to requirements in the contracts. Whether the results were actually required or simply implied to HR and the corporate directors, I don’t know.
I attended a mandatory training class on how to react when people told jokes. Both companies had a policy that no jokes could be told because “you don’t know who you might offend.” The teacher was from Central American and a died-in-the-wool communist. He said, “Okay, somebody had just told a joke and people have laughed. What do you do?” I raised my hand, saying, “Well, you know you have an appreciative audience. So, you try to top it.” He stared at me with his mouth open unable to respond. After class somebody said, “You know, I think if he’d had a gun he’d have shot you.” That was my impression as well. And, I did run afoul for an employee roast I gave at a restaurant off-campus. I was almost fired. But their reason for applying work rules (which were not published at the time) to me was that I’d created a work event by inviting people using company email. I wrote to the company legal office and said, “If that’s your reason to apply work rules, by saying my use of email made this a corporate event, what if somebody had gotten drunk and killed someone on the way home? You’ve admitted this was a work sanctioned event. Is the company not then liable for the death? The whole thing was quietly dropped.
But this is almost like living in a Nazi state where you have to watch every word even at home for fear of being punshed at work.
We had a “Department of War” for almost 160 years, since 1949 it is named the “Department of Defense”.
And the comrade soon wound up in front of a firing squad, charged with `deviationist separatism’.
P.C. = Marxism-Leninism = totalitarian thought control.
I remember being at an Army school back in the early '90s, and one of my classmates -- a female MI sergeant -- always reacted with shock and disgust whenever we combat arms types behaved, well, like combat arms soldiers do. "That's not politically correct!" she would protest, to the derision of we "real" soldiers. I told her one time that the day political correctness became mandatory in the Army would be the day I got out. That day came in 1996. Discharge, that is...political correctness had already destroyed the Army.

Political correctness came from The Frankfurt School of Transitional Marxism and it’s prime directive is the transformation’’(sound familiar?) of Western civilization with the aim of eliminating the Judeo-Christian heritage that has given us the society we have known and replacing it with Marxism. It’s other main aim, to put it bluntly, is the dismantling, i.e ‘’fundamentally transforming America’’.(there’s that word again.) To bottom line it this means the end of America. This son of a bitch in The White House and those who trained him for this mission , Alinsky, Ayers and the rest of the communists and socialist scum are realizing their dream. They along with Obama need to be no more. This is serious. I said here and to all those I know that Barack Obama is not a president. He’s a warning.
The first time I encountered the concept in popular culture was under the Billary administration. I don’t recall them calling it such; they just did it,some media type saw the trend and named it. The rest is Herstory.

Skynard could do a nice job on that song, and get it heard
