Our beloved Rottweiler, Fritz, died peacefully a month ago. He was eleven years old. He hurt his right front leg somehow and I thought he would get better over time, but when he quit eating, I knew it was over. We buried him in our family cemetery here on the farm. He was our constant companion. Our cows thought he was a calf. May he Rest In Peace. photo Fritz2.jpg

You know, the world is in flames, with people dying by the thousands and I have read every single one of these posts, and cried over your dog’s photo. Dogs are a gift to us. I’ve had to put several of them down over the years, mostly due to cancer, and they always return to me in my dreams.
