Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday paid a shiva call to the parents of Max Steinberg, a Los Angeles native IDF soldier who was killed Sunday in Gaza, at the Crowne Palza hotel in Jerusalem.
Its just a huge statement about a young guy finding a place that he was so passionate about, and giving his all, putting himself on the line, Kerry told the Steinbergs. Its an amazing story.
Hows your day? Kerry asked them as he sat down, according to The Jewish Journal. Hows your day? Evie Steinberg asked back. My days going better than yours, he said.
I am so honored to be here. I am in awe of your son, truly, Kerry told the family. And I think you know, I served in the military, and I have great respect for anybody who especially puts themself willingly in harms way. And as an American, were so proud of the affection that he felt, just the love he felt, and the roots he found in this country.
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro, accompanying Kerry, added, Theres no greater manifestion of the bond between our countries than an American citizen putting himself in harms way to defend Israel.
According to the Los Angeles Jewish Journal, Kerry entered and exited the room swiftly, surrounded by men in black and refusing to take any questions from press.
His old Boston Senate Office was in my building. I saw him in action. I would add pompous to your unlikable buffoon. I have no idea how his office staff could stand him: He treated them abysmally. He had one of the two elevators modified so he could have it go straight to his office or the basement.
During the 2004 campaign somebody - I’ve forgotten who - described Kerry as “this tall glass of water”.
Hope Netanyahu has already told him to pound sand.
Is it not appalling that such a pitiful excuse for a man could come so close to being President?
Then, came 2008...
Well, at least he didn’t begin the meeting by claiming the young man had pillaged, raped, and generally acted like Genghis Khan - guess he got that out of his system with his colleagues in Vietnam.....
So, your son’s dead, huh?
I think it’s okay to say ‘scumbag’ if you want.
As in, John Kerry is a worthless scumbag.
And, when scumbags grow up they want to be just like John Kerry.
I don't think so...
Once again, I’ll bite my tongue since I know the NSA is reading this. But, there are so many things I want to say. And there’s one thing I want to live to see happen. I can’t say what that is, either.
and how he meets...
