That was the anguished question asked by an African-American woman from Baltimore on the Laura Ingraham radio show this morning. It ties in directly with this post from last night. Tony Lee at Breitbart.com writes:
On Friday’s Laura Ingraham Show, Elaine, a black woman from Baltimore, expressed her outrage that President Barack Obama is putting the interests of illegal immigrant children above those of American citizens. Though the number of illegal immigrant children unlawfully entering the country has spiked since Obama unilaterally enacted his temporary amnesty program in 2012, the White House has said the primary cause of the border crisis is the rampant gang violence in Central America.
“I’m living a nightmare. My whole neighborhood is so violent. There’s so much crime,” she said. “I have gangs everywhere here in Baltimore! I can’t let my daughter ride her bicycle outside – I can’t do anything, Laura! I’m trapped here.” …
“My children cannot play outside. I cannot take my trash out without locking the door – it’s awful. Who is going to give us anything? Where can I get asylum? Where can I get refugee status? I don’t know what I can do. Nobody cares what happens to my children.”
She’s correct that the Democratic Party doesn’t care about her children. The Democrats figure her kids are already in the bag, so they are angling for new voters in the form of illegal immigrants and their offspring. The Obama administration has been a disaster for African-Americans, even more than for the rest of us. Until now, most haven’t seemed to notice. But the fiasco at the Southern border is making lots of African-Americans angry. How do we know it’s a trend, and not just a few isolated anecdotes? Because Jesse Jackson has jumped on the bandwagon.

I just read that they sent hundred of the illegal kids to Chicago. We are told they left Guatemala because it was dangerous? Wait until they get to Chicago. That’s worse than being tossed from the frying pan into the fire.
But... our inner-cities have been gang-ridden dumpsters for a very, very long time, and if I were living there I think I would be looking to find a way out BEFORE having children.
I just don't understand having children when your situation is already so dire. Why do people keep doing this?? Especially liberals. I mean, it's not like THEY'RE against birth control and abortion, those are practically sacraments to them. So... WHY??

She assumes because he has dark skin, that he's black!
Obama doesn’t care about those illegals..he only cares now because he can get their votes..and once he throws some free health care, food stamps, and welfare checks at them he and the Dem party will own them for life..that is what Dems do, they are the party of slavery
The more kids, the more welfare.
Some enterprising conservative could make a lot out of this. Imagine Dems losing the black vote. Think how urban America could become home to a 21st century Renaissance.

Yeah, but don’t kids cost as much as the welfare brings in? I mean, all they seem to manage with it is to rent some dump in some crime-ridden hole, get a few toys and the occasional manicure. I just can’t figure out why even the dumb ones can’t look around them and think “Me no want this. Me get out.”
Me don’t have to work. Me can watch TV all day. Me can get cash from my fiancée (father of my illegitimate children) who sells dope on the side. Me happy with our lazy life.
This is all about importing new voters.
I guarantee 95% in this neighborhood will continue to vote straight ‘rat for life so there’s no need to cater to them.

To be fair, as this country becomes more 3rd world, former nice lower middle class neighborhoods that once were safe are now becoming gang ridden illegal filled cesspools. That could be where you live because your parents owned the home so it’s yours now. Lower middle class life is becoming obsolete. As is all middle class life. We are separating into haves and have nots, because the have nots get for free and it’s hard to keep working our asses off in the middle classes when we have to keep giving to the others by force.
I could see this playing out like Bush in 2006, in reverse. Bush’s approval rating was dipping but holding steady at a certain point, but then the Kennedy immigration bill lost his base. I think Obama’s attempt at amnesty is going to play out just the same, or even worse for him, since that was just a bill being debated. This is actual policy, or should I say, willful disobedience of policy.

I hope the effects of Zer0’s misguided voter recruitment scheme causes his zer0 infobot voters to wake up. However, the Dems have that base covered too. They will blame Bush for what he did as President and how the Republicans in Congress won’t give Zer0 everything he wants. Zer0 is always the victim of a hostile Republican Congress because he is black. It is always the Race Card and the Victim Card that gets him off the hook.
I hope this importation of poverty teaches a lesson about why we must control our borders. I hope when unemployment rises further among the underclass, some will wake up and see that the insanity is doing the same stupid thing and expecting different results. I hope the illegal drug industry seduces more of their kids into trafficking and their daughters into the White Slave Trade. Then the idea of an economy that enables legitimate employment will make sense. Then those who have been talking about “the economy, stupid” will show them the road off the plantation, and they will be smart enough to follow. From what I have seen, I have nothing but pessimism.
For the low information crowd, infomercials can be entertainment. Not to mention programs like the View or the various “judge judy” type programs. When you are lazy, with no ambition, cartoons can be a source of entertainment (between naps). Just say’n
That republican who’s running for gov should reach out to this woman and her community with some solid ideas for reform.
My kid, unfortunately, lives in MD. There is no more Obama loving place on earth, the LOVE the GUY.
This poor woman must feel very lonely all the time!
