I remember going through there as a kid when there was hardly anyone living there. As late as 1980 the population was a little over 2,000 (according to Wikipedia). The 2010 census had it at 103,466, but it had grown so rapidly between 2000 and 2010 that it could be well above that figure by now. Maybe DHS decided they didn't have the right percentage of Hispanics.

There must be too many republicans living there.
One of the videos from the contentious town hall meeting there said the population there was 27% Hispanic. I bet some Dems would love to see the number go up.
